Bill Kerfin

Bill Kerfin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Bill currently serves as the Executive Vice President for Amsted Automotive, where they lead high-performance teams covering information technology, finance, business process improvements, cash flow optimization, and business development. Prior to this, they were the CFO for Amsted Rail, the world's leading manufacturer of railcar bogie systems and railway wheelsets.

Before joining Amsted Industries, they worked as a Strategic Advisor for Sigelock Systems LLC, providing strategic and operational guidance for commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, and financial functions. Bill also worked as the Managing Partner for AI2O Advisory & Consultancy, LLC, delivering transitionary services, acquisition evaluations, diligence, supply chain assessments, operational reviews, and financial services to private equity and family-owned businesses.

Additionally, Bill Kerfin served as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member for Premier Forge Group LLC, where they led the development and implementation of strategic and annual operating plans for the organization. Bill was also the President for U.S. Pipe, a leading manufacturer and supplier of ductile iron pipe and fabricated products for the water and wastewater industries.

Furthermore, they have held positions such as the Vice President of Sales for U.S. Pipe, Managing Director for AI2O Consulting Services, Board Member for Ductile Iron Pipe Research Association (DIPRA), and Vice President of Finance for Provisur Technologies Inc.

Earlier in their career, Bill Kerfin worked as the Vice President of Finance for Griffin Pipe, a previous operating company within Amsted Industries, and as a Division Controller for ITW, a leading diversified manufacturer of specialized industrial equipment.

Throughout their career, Bill Kerfin has demonstrated expertise in finance, strategic planning, business development, and operational management.

Bill Kerfin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from DePaul University in 1989. Bill later obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1993. In 1998, they completed their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
