Thom Brouwer

Thom Brouwer is currently a PhD candidate specializing in Digital Twin technology in stroke at Amsterdam UMC, starting September 2024. Additionally, Thom serves as a board member at HealthInnovaitors and has been working as a medical product engineer and medical knowledge translator at Ada Health since September 2021. Thom also contributes to the Amsterdam Medical Student journal as a staff reviewer in neurosurgery and previously held the role of content editor from October 2018 to August 2020. Thom was involved with the Vereniging Chirurgie voor Medisch Studenten during the 2018/2019 Master Academy and served as a research assistant for the DCD-III study at the Nederlandse Transplantatie Stichting from January to August 2018. Early experiences include working as a student chauffeur for Sjauf and We Will Drive Chauffeursdiensten from September 2016 to July 2018. Thom earned a degree from the University of Amsterdam, completing studies in February 2022.
