Joop Oonk

Joop Oonk is an accomplished choreographer, artistic director, and educator with extensive experience in inclusive dance practices and the performing arts. Currently serving as Secretary of the Board for Futurists and Chair of the Board for Stichting andere mensen, Joop also co-founded Studio doop, a practice space for performing arts in Schoonhoven. Teaching at institutions such as Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten and ArtEZ University of the Arts, Joop specializes in disability arts and inclusive dance. Oonk's past roles include various positions at Misiconi, where initiatives focused on integrated dance practices, and contributions to publications addressing inclusivity in dance. With a rich educational background in dance and theater, Joop Oonk continues to influence the arts community through creative projects and collaborations.
