Johana Medero

Johana Medero has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Johana most recently worked at AMSURG as the Director of Operations starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they had a role at Optum as the Associate Director Network Business Development from January 2023 to February 2023, followed by the role of Associate Director Strategic Accounts from June 2019 to January 2023, and before that, they were the Center Administrator from December 2017 to June 2019. Before joining Optum, they worked at Nemours as the Pre Authorization & Financial Advocate Manager from 2015 to 2017 and as the Revenue Integrity from 2013 to 2015.

Johana Medero began their education by completing a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, General at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, starting in 2009 and graduating in 2012. Later on, they pursued a Dual Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management & Project Management at the University of Phoenix from 2014 to 2016.
