Mike Compton

Project Manager at Amtec

Mike Compton has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Mike began their career in 1988 as a Power Generation Mechanic in the U.S. Army. In 1998, they joined Nestle USA as a Technician, where they worked on all machinery and was involved in all operations, including electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, and PLC programming. In 2006, they became an Engineer at TRIS USA, where they were responsible for process and production improvements, machine upgrades, automation of processes, troubleshooting, process review, cost savings, and profit improvements. In 2017, they joined ELECTRICFIL AUTOMOTIVE as a Process Improvement Engineer, where they worked on process and production improvements, machine upgrades, automation of processes, injection mold tooling improvements, injection molding process improvements, improvement of inspection systems, mold tool management, and troubleshooting. Finally, in 2022, they became a Project Manager at Amtec Corporation.

Mike Compton completed their education at Elkmont High School from 1974 to 1986. Mike has also obtained a Certified IPC Trainer IPC-7711/ IPC-7721 Solder Rework and Repair certification from the IPC-Association Connecting Electronics Industries in April 2006.
