Sean Thorpe

Sean Thorpe is an Auditor at Amtrak OIG since June 2023, where responsibilities include developing audit programs and analyzing data to ensure compliance with standards and documentation procedures. Previously, as a Policy Analyst Intern for the City of Hyattsville, Maryland, from August 2022 to June 2023, Sean conducted research on constituent issues, evaluated existing laws, and proposed policy changes. Earlier experience includes co-leading a tax review project as a Revenue Analyst Intern for Prince George's County in June 2022 and canvassing for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party in the summer of 2018. Sean holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland (2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Management, along with a minor in International Studies from Boston College (2021).
