Michelle Tortolani

Michelle Tortolani is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in engineering and project management across various industries. Currently serving as the Vice President of Project Delivery Fleet & Facilities at Amtrak, Michelle oversees a $10B+ portfolio for major fleet replacement and facility rehabilitation projects. Prior to this role, Michelle played a pivotal role in the New Acela Program, leading the development of a next-generation high-speed trainset fleet. Michelle's career includes significant contributions at L3Harris Technologies, where leadership was demonstrated over engineering operations and a large team of engineers. With leadership positions in organizations such as the Society of Women Engineers and the American Association of Engineering Societies, Michelle has also focused on diversity and inclusion initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Certificate in Executive Leadership Development from The Wharton School.
