Russel Ahmad

Russel Ahmad has over 17 years of work experience in various IT roles. Russel started their career as a Senior IT Consultant at FleetBoston Financial in 2004, where they were responsible for analyzing software requirements and conducting testing. Russel then joined JDSU as a Senior IT Consultant, where they modernized a legacy telecommunications and network management solution.

In 2011, Russel joined Fannie Mae as a Senior IT Analyst, where they developed strategic plans, managed IT investments, and bridged the gap between business needs and IT solutions. Russel then moved on to ViewSoft Inc. as a Senior IT Consultant, before joining Amtrak in 2013.

At Amtrak, Russel has held multiple roles, including Senior IT Analyst and Operational Support, Principal Engineer, and Senior Principal Systems Engineer. In these positions, they have overseen and led various aspects of solution development, including architecture, design, testing, and deployment. Russel has also worked with cloud technologies, middleware, and various database platforms.

Throughout their career, Russel has been recognized for their ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and mentor others. Russel has a strong focus on customer satisfaction and has received awards for their performance and collaboration skills.

Russel Ahmad completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University-Maryland, from 2001 to 2005.
