Shamyre Johnson

Shamyre Johnson began their career in 2012 as an intern for Joe Selvaggi's US Congressional Campaign. In 2012, they also worked as a Recruiter for Seven Step RPO. In 2014, they held the role of Talent Acquisition Assistant (Contract) at Communispace Corporation and then became a Staffing Coordinator at Boston Children's Hospital until 2016. In the same year, Shamyre joined Randstad as a Staffing Consultant before transitioning to Homesite Insurance as a Staffing Coordinator. Since 2016, they have been at Amtrak, initially as a recruiter and later being promoted to Lead Recruiter in 2021. In their role at Amtrak, they manage high-volume recruiting to meet staffing needs and projects.

From 2008 to 2012, Shamyre Johnson attended Assumption University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication/Marketing.
