Richard Sauer

Richard Sauer currently serves as AVP and Regional Manager for Contract Surety at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., a position held since February 2023. With extensive experience in the surety industry, Richard previously worked as Sr. Financial Products Underwriting Manager at Great American Insurance Group, where significant growth was achieved in the Houston metro area. Prior to that, Richard held roles at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions and The Guarantee Company of North America, where leadership was demonstrated across multiple branch offices and regions. Early career positions include underwriting and management roles at Travelers, SureTec, Chubb, Granite Re, Inc., and CIT. Richard holds a BBA in Economics from the University of Oklahoma.
