Sichen Liang

Sichen Liang's work experience starts with their current role as a Research Associate focused on purification at Amunix Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they worked as a Summer Intern Consultant at Hawkwood Biotech Partners. Sichen also has experience as a Sustainability Project participant at the University of California, Berkeley, where they successfully redesigned a business model to reduce single-use plastics and led effective communication between team members. They also worked on a Senior Design Project at Virginia Tech, developing pneumatic conveying systems for Universal Fibers Inc. In addition, Sichen has served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Virginia Tech, where they contributed to nanoscale assembly modeling and conducted machine troubleshooting. They also worked as a Cosmetic Products Quality Control Inspector at Shenzhen Measure Quality Test & Examination Institute SMQ, where they proposed regulatory revisions and developed new detection methods for cosmetic products.

Sichen Liang obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. This degree was pursued from 2021 to 2022. Prior to this, Sichen Liang completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at Virginia Tech, from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, Sichen Liang obtained a certification in Beauty Industry Essentials from the Fashion Institute of Technology in March 2022.
