William A. Nichols

William Nichols joined Amwins in 2007 and became Chief Operating Officer for the Brokerage Division in 2019. William is part of the Brokerage Support Team and is responsible for developing and executing divisional strategic initiatives which are focused on sales, people, operations, and technology.

William previously served as Executive Vice President of Business Development where he was primarily responsible for identifying and executing Amwins’ merger and acquisition activities as well as having oversight of Amwins' corporate initiatives and strategies, and data and analytics.

Prior to joining Amwins, William worked for Dun & Bradstreet and Banc of America Securities after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
