Zachary Mandel

Zachary Mandel has a diverse work experience in research and the military. Zachary currently works as an Assistant Research Scientist at Amydis, Inc. since April 2023. Prior to this, they were an Associate Research Fellow at Wake Forest University from January 2023 to April 2023. Zachary also held the role of Undergraduate Research Assistant at Wake Forest University from September 2021 to April 2023. Before their research positions, Zachary served as an Executive Officer in the US Army Reserves from July 2020 to May 2022. Zachary also worked as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Wake Forest University from February 2020 to August 2020, focusing on the synthesis, characterization, and development of metal organic frameworks (MOFs).

Zachary Mandel attended North Mecklenburg High School from 2015 to 2019. Zachary obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Wake Forest University between 2019 and 2022.
