Daniel Seyedebrahimi has had a varied work experience since 2017. Daniel began as a Lab Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley in the Portnoy Lab, Department of Molecular and Cell Biology. In 2018, they became an Undergraduate Polymers Researcher at UC Berkeley College of Engineering. In 2019, they were a Process Validation Intern at Boehringer Ingelheim. In 2020, they were a Process Development Associate at Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Currently, they are a Process Engineer and Associate Scientist 1 at Amyris.
Daniel Seyedebrahimi obtained a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with a minor in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2020. Prior to that, they attended El Diamante High School from 2012 to 2016. In addition, Daniel has obtained certifications from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists for Engineer In Training in 2022, MathWorks for Solving Nonlinear Equations with MATLAB in 2019, and AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers for SaChE Level 1 (ELA950-953) in 2019.
