Geoffrey Genesky has extensive experience in the beauty industry. From 2009 to 2019, they held various roles at L'Oréal, including Scientific Director, Innovation & Product Development for Kiehl's Since 1851, Head of Kiehl's Since 1851 Skincare Laboratory, and Sr. Chemist. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. as DARPHIN & LAB SERIES Global Product Development Director and TOM FORD BEAUTY Global Product Marketing & Product Development Director. Geoffrey is currently employed at Amyris as Vice President, Ingredient Technology for Aprinnova.

Geoffrey Genesky obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
