Katie Valeri

Katie Valeri has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they began their role as an Associate eCommerce Operations Engineer at Amyris. In 2021, they worked as a Technical Product Manager at Next Gen HQ, where they led daily standups and was responsible for the rebranding of a native application. Katie also worked as a Frontend Engineer and Technical Product Manager at Next Gen HQ. Her role included partnering with the Product Design team to own the technical implementation of UI for a web application and native application. In 2021, they also worked as a Junior Full Stack Web Developer at iHeartMedia, where they actively participated in daily Scrum meetings and solved numerous styling and efficiency bugs for Zetta2GO. In 2020, they completed a Software Engineering Fellowship at General Assembly. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Various. In 2017, they worked as a Tour Guide and Dispatcher at Radio City Music Hall. In 2016, they worked as an Instructor and Recruiter at John Casablancas Modeling and Career Centers, and as an Education Intern at Hartford Stage. Finally, in 2015, they worked as an Intern at Manhattan Comedy School.

Katie Valeri completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theatre Performance / Media & Ethics from Central Connecticut State University in 2016. Katie also holds two additional certifications, a Software Engineering Immersive from General Assembly obtained in January 2021, and a Disability Inclusion in Education: Building Systems of Support from the University of Cape Town obtained in July 2020.
