Letícia Miyahara

Quality Control Engineer at Amyris

Letícia Miyahara has worked in various roles since 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at the State University of Campinas, working on a project of Synthesis of Hydrogels based on Amphiphilic Copolymer. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Laboratory Research Assistant at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), managing reactions, monitoring by Thin Layer Chromatography, and characterizing compounds related to research in the application of aziridinium ions. In 2017, they were an Intern at Suzano Papel e Celulose. Since 2018, they have been a Quality Control Engineer and Analytical Chemistry Analist at Amyris, where they have been troubleshooting CG and HPLCs instruments, performing titration analysis, using chromatography software, writing protocols and reports, developing analysis, evaluating and helping with CMO lab training, shipping samples and standards, interfacing with other teams, searching for other labs to perform tests for release of products, and performing statistical analysis of data.

Letícia Miyahara has a diverse education history. Letícia obtained a Certificate of Graduation from CULTUREWORKS ESL in December 2014 and a Certificado de Formação: Green Belt - Six Sigma from RL&Associados in May 2013. From 2008 to 2010, they attended Colégio Embraer Juarez Wanderley, graduating from high school. From 2011 to 2017, they attended Universidade Estadual de Campinas, where they obtained a Bacharelado em Química com atribuições tecnológicas. Letícia is currently enrolled at Pós Graduação - Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz, where they are pursuing a Specialization in Validation of Analytical Methods in Analytical Chemistry.
