Patricia East has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on Talent Management, Organizational Design, Performance Management, and Employee Engagement. Patricia has held various roles in HR and Talent Management, starting in 2001 as an HR Assistant at Century Paulista Hotel. Patricia then moved on to HR Supervisor roles at Blue Tree Hotels and Plaza Brasilia Hotéis, Organizações Paulo Octávio. In 2009, she became the HR Manager at Buranello Passos Advogados. In 2010, she joined Glu Mobile as an HR Project Manager and then moved up to Senior Manager, People Development in 2016. In 2018, she joined Amyris as Senior Director, Global Talent Management. Currently, as the Vice President, Head of People, she is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for all HR functions, including organizational design, total rewards, talent reviews & succession planning, performance management, team effectiveness, employee engagement, leadership development, COVID-19 response, DEI, and the future of work.
Patricia East has a long and varied educational history. Patricia earned a Master's degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from Fielding Graduate University in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Graduate Certificate in Evidence-Based Coaching from Fielding Graduate University in 2018. In 2013, they earned a Certificate in Social Media in HR from Cornell University. Patricia also received a Graduate degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Ibmec in 2009. Her educational journey began in 1999 when they studied Psychology at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. In 2021, they also obtained an Add Heart Facilitator certification from HeartMath LLC and an Evidence-Based Coaching certification from Fielding Graduate University.
