Venkat C.

Venkat C. has been in the field of science for over 20 years. Venkat began their career in 2000 as a Research Associate at Texas Tech University. In 2007, they moved to Curia (formerly AMRI) as a Senior Research Scientist. Venkat was then promoted to Senior Research Scientist I and Senior Research Scientist II between 2013 and 2022. Currently, Venkat C. is a Principal Scientist at Amyris.

Venkat C. began their educational journey at the University of Madras, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry in 1992. Venkat then attended Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they earned a Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry in 1994. Venkat C. then attended the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bio-Organic Chemistry in 2000. Most recently, Venkat C. has been pursuing a Post-Doctoral in Organic Chemistry at Texas Tech University.
