Wael al Sakka

Wael Al Sakka currently serves as the Equality & Outreach Officer at Wexford Local Development since May 2022, focusing on addressing the needs of individuals and communities in County Wexford. Additionally, Wael holds the position of Executive Officer at An Garda Síochána since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Interpreter at translation.ie from December 2019 to July 2021 and as a Researcher for IOM - UN Migration from January 2020 to January 2021. Wael's previous experience also encompasses serving as a Procurement Manager at GHS Logistics (Fulfilment Centre) from January 2016 to March 2019. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from South East Technological University, alongside leadership and community development studies at the Institute of Technology, Carlow, and language training at Apollo Language Centre. Wael completed an earlier Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at Damascus University.
