Betül Demi̇rci̇ graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Pharmacy in 1992. Betül completed master's degree in 1994 and doctorate in 1999 at Anadolu University Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacognosy. Betül became associate professor in 2005 and professor in 2010 in the same department. 1997 – 1998 with TWAS (Third World Academy of Sciences) Research Scholarship, Betül participated in short-term research at HEJ Research Institute in Karachi, Pakistan, in 2003-2004, Germany University Regensburg, Institute of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Biology.

Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University.
