Sumudu Leelananda

Sumudu Leelananda is a computational chemist who is currently working at Anagenex. Sumudu has also worked at Auransa Inc. and The Ohio State University. Her research focuses on developing protocols for protein structure refinement, large-scale screening of small molecule databases, and homology modeling of proteins. Sumudu has also published a new protocol on membrane protein structure prediction using Cryo-EM experimental density data and a comprehensive review on computational methods in drug discovery.

Sumudu Leelananda has a PhD in Biophysics from Iowa State University. They also have a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Peradeniya. They are certified in Deep Learning Fundamentals, Machine Learning with Python, Applied Data Science with Python, Data Visualization with Python, Hadoop, Data Analysis with Python, and Data Science 101 from IBM Cognitive Class. Additionally, they have a certification in Fundamentals of Course Design and Teaching from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
