Arnaud Borner

Arnaud Borner has a diverse work experience in the field of research and engineering. Arnaud started their career as a Visiting Scientist at NASA Ames Research Center in 2014. Arnaud then joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Postodoctoral Research Associate in 2015. In 2017, they became a Senior Research Scientist/Engineer at Science and Technology Corporation (STC), where they worked until 2020. Currently, they are working as the Thermal Protection Materials Branch Technical Lead - Senior Research Scientist/Engineer at Analytical Mechanics Associates, where they oversee the technical work and manages a team of approximately 25 employees.

Arnaud Borner completed their Master's degree in Engineering at Ecole centrale de Lyon from 2005 to 2008. Arnaud then pursued further studies at Penn State University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from 2007 to 2009. Arnaud Borner continued their education at Penn State University, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from 2009 to 2014.
