Shelly Thomason

Shelly Thomason, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Analytical Mechanics Associates since July 2020 and also operates as a self-employed Human Resources Director. Previously, from 2001 to July 2019, Shelly held various positions at Alion Science and Technology, ultimately advancing to Director of HR Operations, where responsibilities included administering corporate compensation policies and partnering with management in strategic plan development. Shelly's earlier experience includes significant roles at VICARE, starting as Assistant HR Representative and culminating as Provider Relations Representative, where expertise was demonstrated in provider network communication and compliance education. Educationally, Shelly holds a master's degree in Human Resources from Troy University, as well as a bachelor's degree in Psychology/Human Resources Development from North Carolina State University.
