Betsy McCormick-Romeri

Director Of Communications at Analytics2Go

Betsy McCormick-Romeri has been working in the field since 2007, when they became a Board Member for the Weston Educational Enrichment Fund Committee (WEEFC). In this role, they were involved in fundraising activities and evaluated grant proposals for enrichment programs. Betsy was also involved in the approval process for the dispersement of funds. In 2018, they joined Analytics2Go as the Director Of Communications and an Advisor.

Betsy McCormick-Romeri began their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned their BS in biochemistry in 1984. Betsy then pursued their Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology at the University of Chicago, which they completed in 1993. Betsy then undertook two post-doctoral fellowships, one at Stanford University in the Department of Pharmacology from 1993-1994 and one at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Developmental/Molecular Biology from 1994-1997. From 1997-1998, they were a Visiting Scientist at the MIT Whitehead Institute in Cell and Molecular Biology, and from 1999-2000 they were a Visiting Scientist at the Harvard Institute for Medicine in Cell and Molecular Biology.
