Mamdouh Abdelsalam

Mamdouh Abdelsalam is an accomplished expert in electrochemistry with extensive experience in battery technology and sustainable energy solutions. Currently serving as the Head of Electrodes Development at ANAPHITE LIMITED since July 2023, Mamdouh previously held roles including Head of R&D and Cell Technology and Principal Battery Electrochemist at AMTE Power from June 2020 to July 2023, where technical leadership was provided for Ultra Energy and Ultra Safe cells. An Associate Professor of Electrochemistry at King Faisal University from September 2017 to July 2020, research centered on sustainable energy materials. Earlier positions include Lead Battery Electrochemist at Dyson, Senior Battery Electrochemist at Nexeon Ltd, QinetiQ, and an Electrochemist Research Fellow at the University of Southampton. Mamdouh earned a PhD in Electrochemistry from the University of Southampton between 1996 and 2000.
