James McGowan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. James has worked as an Associate Director and Gold Support Team Manager at Anaqua, where they supervised team members, handled customer communication, and analyzed client reports. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Consultant and APAC Business Consultant Practice Lead at Anaqua's Japanese office, where they implemented online IP Management products and services for large companies. James also worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Anaqua, providing technical and business support for clients.

Before joining Anaqua, James worked as a Support Analyst at Kinetic Software, where they resolved issues related to desktop, web, and mobile applications targeting university and private event venues. James also gained experience as an Audio Visual Technician at Gordon Research Conferences, managing conference audio-visual equipment and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.

James has also held managerial positions, such as General Manager at Saco River Cigars, where they handled various operations including payroll, inventory, and cash handling. James also served as a Site Manager at Gordon Research Conferences, managing conference sites and working with multiple departments to implement budgets.

During their time at the University of New England, James worked as a Senior Conference Services Assistant, managing operations, providing customer service, and marketing on online platforms.
