Thomas Haines

Thomas Haines has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Thomas began their career at Microsoft Corporation as a Software Developer from July 2006 to October 2008. Afterward, they co-founded Golja Haines & Friend - The IP Sentinels, where they served as a Founding Partner and Patent & Trademark Attorney from March 2008 to May 2015.

In 2009, Thomas founded Practice Insight Pty Ltd and assumed the role of CEO & Founder. Thomas successfully conceived, built, commercialized, and maintained two disruptive data analytics products, including autonomous timekeeping for legal (wisetime.com) and patent data analytics for patent attorneys (filinganalytics).

Moving forward, Thomas joined Anaqua as Vice President, WiseTime in June 2022 and continued until February 2024. Thomas then transitioned to the role of Vice President of Engineering at Anaqua from January 2024, and their tenure is ongoing.

Thomas Haines completed their Bachelor of Science in Computing at Curtin University from 1997 to 2000. Thomas then pursued their degree in Laws (Hons) at Notre Dame University from 2003 to 2006. Finally, Thomas obtained a Master of Laws with a specialization in Intellectual Property from the University of Melbourne between 2005 and 2009.
