Pethmi Herath

Pethmi Herath is an experienced academic and finance professional with a robust background in higher education and a focus on business studies. Currently serving as a Visiting Lecturer at the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing since July 2023, Pethmi also holds similar positions at BCAS Kandy Campus, LCL CAMPUS, and ANC Education. Previous roles include Lecturer at ICBT Campus, Tutor for the MBA Programme at the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture, and Secondary School Teacher at Gateway College. Pethmi's early career includes experience as an Assistant Manager at Softlogic Finance PLC and a Visiting Lecturer at Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education. Pethmi holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Peradeniya, as well as qualifications from AAT Sri Lanka and Mahamaya Girls' College.
