Brooke Alius

Brooke Alius is an accomplished Principal UX Designer at Ancestry, specializing in DNA and family history since April 2016. Prior roles at Ancestry include Lead UX Designer and Sr. UX Designer, focusing on DNA product design and features like DNA Matches and ThruLines for both web and mobile platforms. Earlier experiences include Interaction Designer at Brigham Young University, where Brooke contributed to the redesign of the Department of Design website and facilitated a design lab. A Graphic Design Intern at MKG - Experiential Marketing, Brooke assisted in launching a new fashion brand. Brooke's design journey began as a Graphic Designer for BYU FHSS Creative Media, managing print and web projects. Brooke holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Brigham Young University, earned in 2016.
