Zachary Paynter

Zachary Paynter is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis. Currently serving as Director of FP&A at Ancestry since April 2016, Zachary previously held the position of Sr. Financial Analyst at EMC from May 2011 to March 2016 and completed a Financial Analyst Co-Op at Johnson & Johnson in early 2011. Early career experience includes roles as a Financial Service Representative at Mountain America Credit Union and as a Research Analyst Intern at Merrill Lynch. Zachary is also actively involved in community service, having led volunteer initiatives and programs addressing food insecurity, while demonstrating leadership skills through previous roles in volunteer organizations. Zachary holds an Executive MBA from Brigham Young University, earned in June 2023, and a BS in Business Management with a focus on Finance from the same institution, completed in 2011.
