Mike Koban

Mike Koban, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as the Director of FP&A at Inside Real Estate, leading the financial planning and analysis function for a mid-sized company and overseeing a team to enhance operational forecasting. As the founder of 717 Advisors, LLC, Mike specializes in FP&A and strategic financial consulting for early-stage companies. Previous roles include Director of Finance at Compass East, FP&A Manager at FullStory, and Senior Financial Analyst at Ryman Hospitality Properties, with a significant focus on investor relations and financial modeling. Mike also has experience as a Senior Equity Research Associate at both Jefferies and Raymond James, and as a Portfolio Research Analyst for Brogan Financial, where financial assessment and client engagement were key responsibilities. Mike holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Tennessee, a Master of Science in Environmental Science - Biogeochemistry from the University of West Florida, and a BA in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia.
