Joe Galea

Joe Galea has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare and engineering industries. Joe began their career in 2010 as an Intern at Dubai Contracting Company LLC, where they gained on-site experience and learned about safety, cost-estimating, bidding, scheduling, contracts, and overall project management skills. In 2011, Joe began working as a Project Manager at Epic. Joe then moved to Cross Current Corporation / CCBA Cross Current Business Analytics, where they served as an Operations Manager from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Joe founded Anchor Healthcare Consultants, LLC and served as the Managing Director. Joe also worked as a Project Manager at Cleveland Clinic from 2015 to 2017, and as a Strategic Engagement Project Manager at UC San Diego Health from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, Joe took on the role of Interim Director at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Go-Live Success Owner at University of Rochester Me.

Joe Galea has a diverse educational background. Joe attended Germantown Academy from 2003 to 2007. Subsequently, they attended Syracuse University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Economics, a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Maxwell School, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the College of Engineering and Computer Science. In 2008, they also attended the London School of Economics and Political Science for a Summer Program. Joe also holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
