Zachariah Hughes

Zachariah Hughes is an experienced journalist and reporter currently working for the Anchorage Daily News since July 2021, where coverage includes subsistence and rural affairs, military topics, drugs, and local government. With a diverse background in journalism, Zachariah has also contributed to ZPH Media, Alaska Public Media, WHYY, KNOM Radio Mission, Inc., and various other outlets, including NPR, the Los Angeles Times, and Rolling Stone. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies from Harvard University, completed in 2012.
