Managing Director & Head of Banking and Capital Markets at Anchorage Digital

Ken Chapman is currently the managing director and head of banking and capital markets at Anchorage. Prior to this, they were the capital markets lead for DLTP (crypto, digital assets & blockchain) at Wells Fargo from January 2019 to December 2021. In this role, they developed strategy and a roadmap to leverage blockchain and digital assets for Wells Fargo Capital Markets. Ken also led the Wells Fargo research into the Chinese Central Bank Digital Currency and was a thought leader on stablecoins, regulatory frameworks and the US Central Bank Digital Currency. Ken has also represented Wells Fargo at industry working groups, including the Chamber of Digital Commerce and Global Digital Finance. Some other notable achievements include conducting market research and evaluating vendors to identify new products, services, capabilities, and use cases enabled by emerging technologies as well as leading research into the tokenization of Asset-Backed Securities (MBS).

Ken Chapman's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School, and a certification in Private Pilot - High Performance Rated from the Federal Aviation Administration.
