Michael Simmons

Michael Simmons has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Michael is currently employed at Anchore as a Senior Solutions Architect, where they have been since December 2022. Prior to this, Michael worked as a DevSecOps Engineer and then a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Anchore from May 2020 to December 2022.

Before Anchore, Michael worked at DoD Platform One as a Pipelines and Operations Engineer from July 2021 to September 2022, and as a Container Hardening Engineer from June 2020 to July 2021.

Michael's earlier experience includes working as a Software Development/DevOps Intern at LinQuest from June 2019 to April 2020, and as a Software Developer at Loyola Marymount University from February 2019 to April 2020.

Prior to their career in technology, Michael gained experience as an IT Intern at Northwestern Mutual from May 2018 to August 2018, and as an IT Assistant, Shipping Supervisor, and Shipping Clerk at EduKit, Inc. from May 2014 to August 2017. Michael also worked as a Caddy at The Broadmoor from May 2012 to August 2013.

Michael Simmons attended St. Mary's High School from 2012 to 2016, but did not receive a degree or pursue a specific field of study during this time. Subsequently, they attended Loyola Marymount University from 2016 to 2020, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
