Nicolas Orellana

Nicolas Orellana is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in GIS and telecommunications. Currently serving as the System Architect for Smallworld at Andean Telecom Partners since November 2019, Orellana previously held the position of SCADA Programmer at iNSAA ingeniería y control limitada from February 2015 to November 2019, and led the GIS & Drawing and Assignments Departments at Grupo Gtd from September 2012 to May 2014. Orellana's background includes project leadership roles at Claro Chile S.A., managing system improvements and innovations in telecommunications. With a strong educational foundation in Geomatics and Engineering from Universidad de Santiago de Chile and Universidad de Ciencias de la Informática, Orellana possesses a wealth of knowledge in GIS technologies and database management, supported by roles at several prominent companies including Telmex Chile, AT&T Latin America, and Firstcom Chile.
