Francis Ishmail

Francis Ishmail is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within technology and product management. Currently serving as the Head of Information Technology at Red Dot Distribution and as a Senior Product Manager at Andela, Francis drives vision and translates business strategies into technical requirements. Previously, Francis held the position of Senior Technical Program Manager at LCT Africa, which grew from a successful product developed at Compulynx Limited, where Francis worked as a Lead Software Engineer. Additional roles include Data Scientist and Software Developer at SEVEN SEAS TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, Lead Data Scientist at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and Founder & Director at DevsAfrica Limited. Francis began a career with an internship at INTREPID DATA SYSTEMS LTD after earning a Master's in Software Engineering and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University, along with a Diploma in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University.
