Stephen Magero

Stephen Magero is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and management. Currently serving as the Managed Services Practice Lead at Andela since November 2023, Magero previously held several key positions at Andela, including Senior Director of Partner Engineering and Director of Talent Operations. Prior to this, Magero was the Managing Director at Azenia Technology, where the focus was on developing platforms to enhance financial services in Africa. Experience also includes roles as eHealth Program Manager at the Clinton Health Access Initiative and Lead Consultant at ThoughtWorks. Magero’s career began at the Infectious Diseases Institute, where responsibilities included management and development in information services. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Distributed Computer Systems from the University of Greenwich and a BSc in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University.
