Sandra van de Walle

Sandra Van De Walle has over 25 years of experience in tax management and consulting. Sandra started their career as a Senior Tax Accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1991 before joining Baker Hughes as a Senior Tax Accountant. Sandra then worked at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting as a Tax Manager, where they researched and developed tax planning strategies for businesses. Sandra later joined KPMG as a Senior Manager Federal Tax, focusing on tax accounting methods for various clients. Sandra then moved to Deloitte & Touche LLP as a Tax Senior Manager, leading compliance teams and providing client services. At Goodman Manufacturing, Sandra served as the Director of Tax and Corporate Tax Manager, managing tax compliance, research, planning, and audits. Sandra then worked for AIG American General Companies as a Tax Director, developing compliance protocols for federal and state income tax requirements. Sandra also held the position of Tax Director at Carbo Ceramics Inc., where they led the corporate tax department and handled tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax forecasting, and more. Prior to their current role, Sandra served as the National Tax Operations Director at UHY Advisors, Inc., responsible for quality control and tax training resources. Currently, Sandra holds the position of Managing Director at Andersen.

Sandra Van De Walle has a Master of Legal Studies in Taxation (MLST) degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, which they obtained from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Houston in 1998, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the same institution in 1990. In 1993, Sandra obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
