Colin Brown

Colin Brown has extensive work experience in the field of tax, with their most recent role being a Personal Tax Director at AAB since September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Private Client Tax Director at RSM UK from April 2015. Before joining RSM UK, Colin served as a Senior Manager at Stephen Hay & Associates Limited from November 2005 to October 2011. Colin started their career as a Tax Manager at PwC in April 2001 and later became a Partner at Steven Reid & Associates from April 1999 to March 2001. Colin's early experience includes working as a Private Client Supervisor at Coopers & Lybrand from April 1995.

Colin Brown attended Kirkcaldy High School from 1979 to 1985, where they obtained OGrades, Highers, and CSYS qualifications in various fields. Following high school, they enrolled at Heriot-Watt University from 1985 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accountancy and Computer Science. In August 1996, Colin obtained additional certifications, including CTA and ATT, from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT).
