Lauren McIlroy

Lauren McIlroy has a diverse work experience in finance and management roles. Lauren started their career at Deloitte UK as an Assistant Manager, where they managed audit assurance engagements for various clients. In 2014, they joined Subsea 7 as a Senior Financial Accountant, specializing in share-based payments and hedge accounting. Afterward, they worked as a Finance Manager at HVAC & Refrigeration Engineering Ltd and later at Macduff Shellfish. In 2017, they became the Group Financial Controller at Nucore Group. Currently, they are Partner and Head of Virtual Finance Function at AAB, where they previously held the positions of Partner, Director, and Senior Manager.

Lauren McIlroy began their education in 2005 at the University of St Andrews where they pursued a degree in Classical Studies and International Relations. Lauren successfully completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) program in 2009. In 2009, Lauren McIlroy joined ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs, where they studied Chartered Accountancy for three years, until 2012.
