Pearl Lara

In addition to her role as Chief Diversity Officer, Pearl also serves as the Senior Director of Human Resources for Paradise Beverages and Hawaii Coffee Company.

Formerly with Frito-Lay, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of PepsiCo, Pearl served as the Director of HR for the businesses in Alaska, Hawaii, and Oregon. In addition, Pearl served as the diversity and engagement leader for Frito-Lay’s west division and was co-leader for various regional teams, where she developed strategy and led multiple initiatives to increase representation and engagement. Pearl set programs to address several business opportunities, including retention, the development of female leaders, and a new leader assimilation program.

Pearl is a graduate of the University of Hawaii’s Management Program and the former Diversity Chair of the Board of Directors of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
