Jack Hagen

Jack Hagen is a research associate at Andes. Jack has a degree in molecular biology from UC Berkeley. Jack has worked as a research associate at Zymergen and Berkeley Yeast. Their daily tasks involve operating automation equipment to perform experiments in high throughput, DNA design and assembly, reading scientific literature to inspire and inform experiments, and developing methods to be scaled up by other departments.

Jack Hagen earned a BS in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of Sussex and a BS in the same field from the University of California, Berkeley.

They are on a team with Alejandro Ramirez - Research Associate, Alessandra Wetmore - Research Associate, and Rachel Baxter - Field Research Associate. Jack Hagen reports to Phil Weyman, Director of Research.
