Michael Hooke

Michael Hooke has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Michael began their career at Westpac New Zealand Limited, where they held the position of Financial Controller in Group Finance from 2001 to 2005. Michael then moved to JPMorgan Chase as the EMEA Credit Markets Controller in 2005. Following this, they worked at HSBC as the Global Head of Finance for HTS Global Banking and Markets from 2006 to 2014. Michael then joined Kotahi Logistics LP as a Finance Project Manager from 2015 to 2016. Hooke continued their career at Westpac New Zealand Limited as the Head of Finance for Commercial, Corporate & Institutional Banking, Treasury Finance, and Capital from 2016 to 2017. Michael also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Tower Insurance from April 2017 to October 2017 on an interim basis. In December 2017, they took on the role of Commercial Manager - Property [Interim] at Foodstuffs North Island Limited until June 2018. Currently, Hooke is serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Ando Insurance Group Limited, a position they have held since August 2018.
