Michael Blau

Michael Blau is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in finance and performance arts. Currently, Michael serves as an Investment Partner and Deal Analyst at Andreessen Horowitz focused on a16z Crypto since August 2021. Concurrently, Michael runs a performance business, Blau Your Mind, as a magician and mentalist since December 2012. Prior experience includes a brief role as a Portfolio Analytics Analyst at BlackRock and earlier as a summer analyst within the same firm. Michael also honed performance skills at The Magic Castle® and collaborated as a Magic Assistant with David Blaine Productions. Michael earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Computer Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School in 2021.
