Salvador A.

Salvador A. has a diverse range of work experience in various engineering roles. Salvador began their career as a Dairy Farm Operator and Mechanic at Willow Creek Dairy, where they gained experience in operating and maintaining heavy-duty machinery. Salvador also supervised and trained co-workers in various roles.

Salvador then worked as a CAD Designer at JMC Enterprises, where they developed skills in computer-aided design. Salvador later joined Cummins Inc. as a Powertrain Optimization Engineer, conducting testing on vehicles powered by Cummins diesel engines. Salvador collected and analyzed data, optimized engine functionality, and developed GUI using MATLAB.

Salvador gained additional engineering experience as a Structural Engineer and Fabricator at ASCE Steel Bridge Student Group, where they worked on structural projects. Salvador then interned as an Equipment Engineer at Maxim Integrated, where they gained hands-on experience in equipment engineering.

Most recently, Salvador worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Wavecel LLC, where they gained experience in mechanical design. Currently, they are working as a Mechanical Engineer at Andrews Cooper.

Salvador A. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University between 2017 and 2021. Prior to that, they attended Blue Mountain Community College from 2013 to 2017, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. Additionally, during the same time period, Salvador also studied at Eastern Oregon University, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree.
