Naila Fatima has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and teaching. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Computer Vision Researcher at the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH), where they developed video blur detection models in collaboration with Qualcomm. Naila also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Electronics Workshop 2 course at IIITH.
In 2020, Naila worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, assisting with the CS 4641/7641 Machine Learning course, including creating and grading assignments and providing programming assistance to students.
From 2021 to 2022, Naila worked as a Software Engineer at Hypergiant, where they focused on building datasources and automating hyperparameter tuning for Hyperdrive experiments. Naila also improved the compatibility of Ariadne resolvers with AWSv2 credentials.
Currently, Naila is a Software Engineer at Andromeda 360, Inc., where they are responsible for maintaining and enhancing the model development kit (MDK). Naila has authored comprehensive unit and regression tests, revised documentation, and incorporated retraining functionality to improve model performance. Naila also implemented model versioning to enhance workflow efficiency.
Naila Fatima completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, with Honors in Computer Vision, from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH) in 2019. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2019 to 2020.
