Apurv Tiwari

Apurv Tiwari is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience across various companies. Currently, Apurv is with Andromeda Surgical as a Machine Learning Engineer since December 2023. Prior to this, Apurv served as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Upstart from January 2020 to December 2023 and as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Starsky Robotics from December 2017 to January 2020, where responsibilities included implementing a machine learning pipeline for autonomous trucks. Previous roles also include foundational work at Ikarus Technology, alongside a position as Senior Technical Architect at Spark Technology Group, and experience as a software engineer at Raxa JSS EMR. Apurv has contributed to projects including a distributed dialog system implementation at Carnegie Mellon University and participated in Google Summer of Code, enhancing Sphinx 4. Apurv holds a Master of Technology in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, obtained in 2012.
