Rami Abukhalil

Rami Abukhalil, MD., MPH, currently serves as the VP of Medical Affairs at Andromeda Surgical since September 2023. Previously, Rami held the position of Senior Clinical Research Scientist at Johnson & Johnson, where responsibilities included working with machine learning engineers on surgical ML models and aligning research with clinical development strategies. Rami also functioned as an AI surgical consultant, contributing to the development of AI computer vision models through surgical video annotation. As Medical Director at Alrazi Medical Center, Rami oversaw strategic planning and operational management, engaging with stakeholders to enhance clinical excellence. Additional experience includes serving as a Medical Consultant at Alrajhi Medical Center, a Medical Research Assistant at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, and a Senior Surgical Resident at Palestinian Medical Complex. Rami's academic background includes a Master of Public Health from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Misr University for Science and Technology.
